Hi! I'm Chelsea, owner and lead planner of Behind The Veil Wedding Planning. I grew up as a military brat living all over the United States. Tennessee became my home in 2013 and shortly after, I met my soulmate, Richard Wilkes. Within a year we were engaged! We said "I Do" in April of 2018 and we are now blessed with two wild kiddos. I had always dreamed of running my own business, but I couldn't quite figure out what I wanted to do. Fast forward to 2019, I began assisting for a local wedding venue. I quickly fell in love with the wedding industry and tried to learn everything I could about event planning. In 2021 I made the decision to open my own business, Behind The Veil Wedding Planning! Since then, I've assisted hundreds of beautiful couples down the aisle. From finding their dream venues to seeing their "first looks" on the wedding day, I count it all joy! I feel so blessed to be a part of my couples' special day and witness the start of their forever.
