Hello! I'm Chelsea Wilkes, owner and lead coordinator of Behind The Veil Wedding Planning. I grew up as a military brat living all over the United States. Tennessee became my home in 2013 and shortly after, I met my soulmate Richard Wilkes. Within a year we were engaged! I married the love of my life in April of 2018 and we are now blessed with a son and daughter. I had always dreamed of running my own business but I couldn't quite figure out what I wanted to do. Fast forward to 2019, I began assisting for a local wedding venue. I quickly fell in love with the wedding industry and tried to learn everything I could about event planning and coordination. In 2021 I made the decision to open my own business, Behind The Veil Wedding Planning! Since then, I've assisted dozens of beautiful couples down the aisle. From finding their dream wedding venue to seeing their "first look" on the wedding day, I count it all joy! I feel so blessed to be a part of my couples' special day and see the start of their forever.
